General Terms of Service

Legal framework and commitments for the provision of our cybersecurity services.

1. Purpose and Scope of Application

These terms and conditions regulate the provision of cybersecurity consulting services by SESEC and the use of this website.

Contracting our services implies explicit acceptance of these terms.

2. Services Offered

SESEC offers the following specialized services:

Cybersecurity audits
Pentesting and penetration testing
System hardening
Security Incident Response
Regulatory compliance consulting (ISO 27001, ENS, GDPR)
Cybersecurity training

3. Contracting Conditions

3.1 Proposal and Acceptance

All services will be formalized through a detailed technical and economic proposal. The contract is perfected upon written acceptance by both parties.

3.2 Duration

The duration of each service will be specified in the corresponding proposal. Ongoing consulting services will have the agreed-upon duration with the possibility of renewal.

4. Parties' Obligations

4.1 SESEC Obligations

  • Provide services with maximum professional diligence
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Comply with agreed deadlines
  • Provide detailed reports of work performed
  • Maintain professional certifications and competencies

4.2 Client Obligations

  • Facilitate necessary access to systems and information
  • Designate a technical contact person
  • Pay fees within agreed deadlines
  • Implement security recommendations
  • Notify any relevant incidents

5. Confidentiality

SESEC undertakes to maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding all information to which it has access during the provision of services.

This obligation shall remain in force even after the termination of the contractual relationship.

6. Pricing and Billing

Prices will be established in each proposal and will be firm during the term of the contract, unless modifications are agreed upon in writing.

Billing will be carried out according to milestones established in each project. Payment terms will be 30 days from invoice date.

7. Liability

SESEC shall be liable for direct damages caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence in the provision of services.

Liability shall be limited to the amount of fees received for the specific service that caused the damage.

SESEC shall not be liable for:

  • Damages resulting from misuse of recommendations
  • Subsequent attacks on unaudited systems
  • Data loss due to causes unrelated to our services
  • Business interruptions unrelated to our activities

8. Intellectual Property

Reports, methodologies, and tools developed by SESEC remain its intellectual property.

The client shall have the right to use deliverables for internal purposes, with no possibility of transfer to third parties.

9. Dispute Resolution

The parties undertake to resolve any controversy amicably. If not possible, Spanish jurisdiction shall be competent.

10. Modifications

SESEC reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions, notifying changes at least 30 days in advance.
